Founded in 2005, Zhejiang Shunpu New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is an enterprise specializing in the production and R&D of colored craft woven paper. This is a new type of craft woven raw material, characterized by high strength, vibrant colors, and convenient processing. It is recyclable and biodegradable, and does not pollute the environment.
Shunpu New Material Technology Co. currently has over 170 employees, covers an area of 68 acres, has 9 production lines, an annual output of 17,000 tons, and sales revenue of approximately 200 million yuan. Since its inception, the company has focused on technological innovation and intellectual property protection, keeping pace with international trends in the design and development of woven base paper varieties and colors. Its G-series color cards have become the standard color cards in the global paper weaving industry.
In 2020, the company’s technical team achieved another significant breakthrough: the successful mass production of yarn base paper and paper yarn marked a new market opportunity for Shunpu New Material. The yarn base paper can achieve a minimum basis weight of 12 g/m², possessing characteristics such as high strength, softness, absence of small pulp spots, and absence of pinholes. It can be cut into strips as narrow as 1 mm, creating prerequisites for the production of finer and softer paper yarn. Paper yarn is widely used in socks, jeans, T-shirts, shirts, webbing, and many other fields, but there are still many more applications waiting to be developed with our customers.
